The City of Peoria is planning a roundabout to improve traffic flow at the Lone Mountain Road and Vistancia Boulevard intersection.

The intersection was originally designed assuming a future signal would be installed, when warranted. However, based on recent traffic monitoring and warrant studies, the intersection does not yet warrant a traffic signal - nor is it expected to for many years.

 

As a suitable alternative to address traffic conditions at the intersection, a two-lane roundabout will be installed.    ​
